Jeannette Mancilla-Martinez

Jeannette Mancilla-Martinez received her Ph.D. in Linguistics from Harvard University and is currently teaching pedagogy at the prestigious Vanderbilt University in the United States. She has demonstrated her outstanding research achievements in child development, vocabulary-focused ELLs, and improving the English reading comprehension of immigrant children.

Young-suk Grace Kim

Professor Youngsook Kim received her PhD in Education in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University, and is currently working as a professor at the University of California. Her specialties include language development, anthroposophy, and writing, and she was awarded the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers by President Barack Obama.

Christina Cassano

Christina M. Cassano received her PhD in Education from Boston University and is currently a professor at Salem State University, researching early language education, language development, and language engineering.

Anne Cunningham

Anne Cunningham currently serves as Chief Advisor to the Graduate School of Education at the University of California, Berkley, as well as Director of the Institute for Special Education. She has been actively engaged in research activities in the areas of writing and reading comprehension development, as well as the development of reading skills in young children.

Yuuko Uchikoshi Tonkovich

Yuuko Uchikoshi Tonkovich is a professor at the University of California and Dean of the College of Education. She holds a PhD in Human Development Psychology from Harvard University, and her main research interests include early language education, English language learning, and sociolinguistics.

Dina C. Castro

Dina Castro is a Distinguished Professor at the University of North Texas. After she received her PhD in Psychology in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from the University of North Carolina, she has been conducting research in the education of children of diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
